Chattering (2020)_Interactive installation
A series of anonymous conversations, captured in realtime.
When I'm in a crowded space, I like to listen to the chattering around me. I'm trying to grasp some words. To feel the room. To merge all these abstract snippets of small conversations into some kind of big, overall blanket of human presence. With 'Chattering' I developed an algorithm to catch those random words of passers-by. Turning sound into words into abstract, collective poetry.
